My Questions is where you can create, import, edit, and manage your question sets. When you visit My Questions for the first time, you will find a few example question sets that we have prepared. You do not need to be registered - go take a look:

Before we go into the creation of your own questions and question sets, we suggest you experience what a real session might look like!

Simply click on 'Start New Session' within the selected question set on the top right corner of your screen.

After you start a new session, you will be automatically sent to the session dashboard. Here, you can find the session code, manage your questions and see your students' answers in real-time.

Session Code

Every session automatically generates a unique session code that can be shared with your students to join during class. This can be done in three ways: either copy and share the URL, ask your students to go to and enter their code in the 'Students' field, or through a class invitation (premium users only).

Session Questions

All questions can be individually shown and hidden from the students' devices, giving you great flexibility to tailor your session based on your teaching. This is quickly done by clicking on one of the toggles on the top.

Student Answers

This is where you will be able to see all of your students' answers appear in real-time, giving you the ability to quickly assess the learning progress and engagement of your class. Within a few seconds, you'll be able to better understand how to adapt Classtime to your teaching and maximize the overall learning progress.

The easiest way to see how this works is by clicking on 'Start Preview' at the bottom of the page:

Once the simulation starts, you’ll get a better feeling of what a real class might look like. Clicking on any student’s answer cell will show you more information about their answer.

Session Settings

Each session you start is customizable based on your preferences by clicking on “Settings” within your current session. Here, you are able to shuffle answer options or questions, enable partial points, enable round-based mode, and create a session reflection at the end of the session where students can reflect on the lesson. Many of these settings make it difficult for students to share answers while in the session, and some features are helpful for examinations such as allowing one attempt per question and setting a session timer and schedule.
