Classtime is committed to providing real-time feedback on student performance, helping you fine-tune your teaching approach as you go. With our “Hand in” button, we have aimed to simplify the process of monitoring student progress and session completion.

While the existing "Submit" button lets you see student answers instantly, the "Hand in" button, allows students to finalize their work. Once they hit "Hand in," they can't modify their answers—just like turning in a paper test in a traditional classroom.

Your students can use the hand in button easily in the upper right hand corner of the session:

If a student accidentally hits "Hand in" before completing all answers, Classtime will alert them:

Alternatively, students can also auto-set the session to "Handed in" once all answers are submitted. If a student needs to make changes, they can request to "unsubmit" their session by clicking the button in the upper right hand corner:

Once a student clicks “unsubmit,” you will then see a request pop up on your dashboard:

Once you approve the request, the student will be able to continue working on the session. If you want to enforce logout for students who hit "Hand in,” just enable the "Log out when handing in" option in session settings.

Learn more about all the session settings.
